Some stories are written in the scars.

I write about the complexity of desire, relationships, love, and loss.

A Night of Flowers

One night. Until sunrise.

On his birthday, a man walks into a Vancouver restaurant carrying a decision he believes is final.

Before the sun rises, strangers briefly enter his life. Over drinks, along dark streets, and beside the water, conversations wander through love, faith, sex, regret, and the strange bargains people make with themselves.

As night gives way to morning, one question remains: can a few hours change what a man believes about the rest of his life?

A story about the fragile distance between an ending and a beginning.

About me...
ZAEVYR

I write about the complexity of desire, relationships, love, and loss. I draw inspiration from lovers, friends, exes, strangers, and an overthinking mind. Animals, marijuana, magic mushrooms, MDMA, and nature have altered my perspective.

The ancient forests and rugged shores of Vancouver Island's west coast, especially around Ucluelet, hold a special place in my heart. Standing at the edge of the Pacific reminds me of my fragility and insignificance. All we leave behind is how we made people feel when they were in our presence.

I remain anonymous so I can write freely about sex, faith, shame, longing, and everything else that makes us human.

How scandalous!
